A trip down memory lane…
Who am I kidding?! This was last year so the memory lane is very short. Anyways let’s get to it. Around this time last year, I was contemplating creating this blog. The reason was simple. After entering university, my friends and I really went our separate ways. I still talk to two of them, who I’ve known for almost ten years now but we don’t really talk about anime. Only one watches anime and we never watch the same things or have the same tastes. We tend to disagree about almost everything anime related so the conversations are never that fun and nor are they frequent. So, long story short, I didn’t really have anyone to talk to about anime the way I wanted to which landed me with the idea of sharing my thoughts on the net instead. This is when my friend suggested I start a blog since I like writing anyways and so I did some searching and found wordpress would be a pretty good place to start. And that’s how this blog was born.
Wise words from a clueless person are never wise
Isn’t that why we all started blogging in some respect? Because we thought we’d have fun sharing our thoughts with others? I think that’s the most important part about anything. Just enjoy yourself and what you’ve set out to do!
Don’t be scared to post whatever you like
Easier said than done, I know. Many times, I’ve hovered over that post button before re-writing the whole post and then posting it. However, I came to realise that I t doesn’t matter. The original posts I’d written were just as good as the re-writes. To be fair, if your opinion isn’t the popular one, then it’s even better because it allows for a conversation to be had. Post whatever you like and be happy with it. Isn’t that why we created our blogs? To write and post whatever we like, whenever we like?
Ok, that’s enough crappy words from me. I feel like I’m not qualified to give advice anyways since I’m pretty much still finding my own footing and learning about all sorts of stuff.
Now, it’s time for the nominations! Like always, feel free to ignore this if you don’t want to do it.
