Hi guys! So yesterday (21st), my blog turned two! I can’t believe it’s already been two years since I started blogging. I’d like to thank everyone who takes their time out to read my posts. I know I don’t post all that frequently but it does mean a lot to me. So thank you! And as promised, here are the answers to everyone’s questions! Once again, thank you for leaving your questions for me to answer! 🙂
Do you rock a big, bushy ponytail in real life too?
I wish! My hair is actually very thin but it gets really puffy when I come out of the shower or on a humid day so it looks like I have a lot of hair. In reality my hair is just a curly mess so nothing like my avatar. I tried to draw the reality but failed so I went with something else instead.
What has been your favourite blogging moment from the last year?
Oh wow, that’s a hard one. Probably getting to do all the collabs! There was the In Conversation with TPAB, T(A)LK with TPAB and Leap where we covered Devils Line, Mahou Shoujo Site and the first cour of BHA Season 3, Natsume Week and of course, Megane Day which I took part in this year. They were a lot of fun and hopefully I’ll get a chance to collab with some of you guys again this year.
Which song do you want to dance to right now?
The ending to Fukigen no Mononokean Season 2. Just finished watching the recent episode so the song is now stuck in my head.
Which is your favourite post you wrote?
This is a really hard one! I think I wrote some pretty good posts this year. If I had to pick one, probably my analysis of Rashomon and how it’s tied to After the Rain. That was a great post to write.
What character would you not want to have as a roommate?
There’s too many! I probably wouldn’t want to share a room with Okabe. Imagine having a mad scientist as a roommate. That would be the death of me.
What do you hope to achieve in your next year of blogging?
I hope to get back to writing more episodic reviews and hopefully finally get round to refurbishing my series reviews page. I wrote those posts when I started blogging and have never added to it since which is kind of sad.
If you could meet an anime voice actor/seiyuu of your choice, who would it be?
It would probably be between Daisuke Ono or Ishikawa Kaito since they’ve voiced some of my favourite characters.
What’s one thing that constantly inspires you to write for your blog?
Honestly, I’d like to know the answer to that myself. I guess I spend most my time writing the Music Box posts since they take longer to construct. With them, I just pick an anime at random and go from there. When I get back to writing episodic reviews and essays here and there, I guess it’s what motivates me to write or gives me a good spark. I’d want to share that with you guys who take time out to read my posts which is what keeps me writing I guess.
1) What would you do if you found a death note?
Keep it but try and not to use it. I don’t think I want to be like Light.
2) What is your plan if the zombie apocalypse goes down?
Lock myself in a supermarket with my laptop. Of course, shut the place down so only I’m in it. That way, I’ll have a good amount of food and stuff to do on my laptop.
3) Tell us about your husbandos?
Let me just list the ones I can recall from the top of my head because I could write essays on these boys.
- Shinsuke from Gintama
- Izaya from Durarara
- Sebastian from Black Butler
- Yato from Noragami
- Chuuya from Bungo Stray Dogs
- Oikawa from Haikyu
- Akashi from Kuroko
- Ban from Seven Deadly Sins
- Kogami from Psycho-Pass
That’s a good list!
4) What are some songs you are currently addicted to?
Lullaby and Polaroid are two songs I can’t get out of my head right now.
5) Would you be a hero, villain, antihero, other (what if other)?
Personally, I’d like to be just a side character minding their own business. That way I won’t get into too much of a mess. Having said that, all my siblings think me and Kageyama are two peas in a pod in every way so I’d probably be a character like him but as a side character since being the centre of attention isn’t my thing.
6) What is your favourite writing utensil and why?
I have this collection of really cute pencils from the Tiger shop which have wooden carvings of animals at the top. Currently I am using the pig and king (? Not quite sure what that character is) and they’re really nice to write and shade with.
7) How long has your favourite colour been your favourite colour and why is it your favourite colour?
So, my favourite colour is hot pink and has been my favourite colour since I was really small. My mum told me that I always liked pink so that’s that and I actually don’t know why I like that colour. It’s become a colour I like to own but not to wear. Clothing wise, I tend to go for colours like navy blue, which I wear a lot, and violet so a lot of people think my favourite colour is navy blue. It’s a great colour and I absolutely love it but hot pink will always be my favourite.
Once again, thank you to everyone for the questions! They were really fun to answer. 🙂
