Hi guys! Here’s this week roundup. Now that I’m free from exams and stuff, I’ll be slowly returning to my normal blogging schedule! 🙂
Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2 – ep 4
Damn! This is what I loved about AoT in the beginning and I still love it now. The despair and pessimism comes through like a sharp knife and I was all here for it. They really had no chance once the Beast Titan started moving but there is still a romanticism to what Erwin said and with death not a certainty, it adds something optimistic to the bleak outlook. Erwin’s death was a hero’s death but that does not guarantee Levi’s success in killing the Beast Titan. We’ll just have to see where this all goes, but without Erwin I do have to wonder who will take the charge?
Carole & Tuesday – ep 7
Anyone getting X factor vibes from the auditions? Well it was fun and all but really we’re going to a talent show? Somehow I did not see that one coming and yet it’s the most obvious answer. I can see how the girls will collide with Angelica now and the story seems to be coming along well. Angelica does not seem to have had the best upbringing to get to where she is but I’m more interested in seeing her compete with Carole and Tuesday.
Dororo – ep 19
A change of pace in this episode from the usual but I quite liked the laid back approach. We got to see a new side to Hyakkimaru and Dororo and, a monster that’s not exactly evil. It was a nice break from the usual.
Fairy Tail – ep 32
Finally, an episode that I thoroughly enjoyed! Seeing Gray and Natsu fight on one side whilst Makarov gives up his life for his family on the other was the perfect balance that got the emotions just right for me. It’s sad seeing those two fight like that but seeing Makarov die after so long, now that’s tragic. This show is known for its lack of death and now it goes killing one of the best characters. That’s kind of unfair. Hopefully this will bring the guild closer together and help Natsu regain his senses.
Mayonaka no Occult Koumuin – ep 7
I’m just glad all the girls got back what they lost! Humans die that’s a given but when life spans are different, the trauma can be quite something and that’s what we see with Azazel. He just can’t let go of the one he loved even though she wants to rest in peace. He can’t understand that notion at all because it won’t happen to him. It’s a shame that because of that he thinks it’s okay to hurt others. I’m glad things worked out for Arata and the gang even if it means that Azazel is off on another hunt to create the perfect body.
One Punch Man Season 2 – ep 7
We finally get to see Saitama fight and it was an alright fight to be fair. I quite like the idea that humans can consume monster cells to become monsters. That’s interesting actually though I doubt Garou has any of that. That being said, I can see humans succumbing to it like that one guy seeking for power so maybe Suiryu’s in danger? Who knows. Either way, the tournament is finished and maybe Saitama will take part in the monster fight.
