Five Romance Anime I Have Yet to Watch

Hi guys! For this week’s list, I’ve decided to go with five romance anime I have yet to watch. There are so many I haven’t watched and that have been sitting on my watch list for years now. I thought I’d share five of them with you guys.

Don’t ask why I haven’t watched these anime yet. Even I don’t know the answer to that question….

What romance anime has been sitting on your watch list for too long?

  1. I’ve watched A Lull in the Sea and I didn’t really think it was even a romance as it is only like a sub plot in the story. It’s more of a coming-of-age drama with a bit of fantasy and more about familiar/platonic love than romantic love. I definitely recommend it, though, it’s a really good story – and visually stunning!

  2. Ore Monogatari and Your Lie in April are both fantastic. I can’t say anything about A Lull in the Sea or Nisekoi.

However, and based on previous comments I am alone on this, I did not think Golden Time was that good. Like, at all. It’s been awhile since I saw it so I can’t really remember what I didn’t like about it. I just know that it didn’t sit well with me.

  3. Romance isn’t my genre at all, so I was surprised I had actually seen three of the five you listed! Those three being Golden Time, Ore Monogatari and Nagi no Asukara.

As for my own list of five romance series that even I may one day find time for, on top of Nisekoi and Your Lie in April, I’d add Tsukigakirei, Touch, and Gokinjo Monogatari.

  4. I’ve seen them all. This is how I’d rank them:

Golden Time/Lull in the Sea > My Love Story > Nisekoi >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Your Lie in April (it’s best I don’t talk about this show; I wouldn’t be very kind to it)

For what it’s worth, I think Lull in the Sea works better as a coming-of-age story of a group of friends than as a romance. At least those are the aspects I enjoyed the most.

    • That is very interesting. A lot of people speak highly of Your Lie in April but I guess everyone has their own experiences.

Ahhh ok! It’s categorized as a romance but anime usually aren’t from one genre so I can see that. Hopefully it’ll be a fun watch! 😊

  5. Niskeo only one I haven’t seen on this list as I want to read the manga rather watch the anime. Golden time I didn’t enjoy first time watching but the series has a dub now and it sounded really good. So I want to rewatch it again. Nagi no asukara oh one of my favourite anime ever !!!!!

  6. You didn’t ask, but I’ll take it upon myself to recommend an order that’s ideal for you to watch these.

    1) Your Lie In April
    2) Golden Time
    3) Nisekoi

Yeah I haven’t watched the rest as well :d
